THE ROLE: Sales Implementation Specialist

Spruce Finance’s sales model engages contractors, installers, and EPCs in residential markets to deliver its FinTech platform and residential energy efficiency, water efficiency and solar finance products to the US market.

Spruce seeks a motivated Sales Implementation Specialist to support in driving Spruce Finance revenue and market share growth in the small and medium business market. You accomplish this goal through new account activation (primarily contractors), onboarding, sales engagement, sales enablement and educating all channel partners on the Spruce platform technology, finance products, and business propositions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Meet and exceed team sales goals
  • Call target prospects to close new accounts and grow market share
  • Participate in lead campaigns to promote the Spruce brand and attract new partnerships
  • Establish relationships with customers
  • Reactivate dormant accounts
  • Effectively communicate with customers via telephone and email
  • Record all activities in Salesforce
  • Drive excitement and brand awareness of Spruce products
  • Collect market intelligence and competitive information
  • Handle inbound customer calls and engage resources in solving concerns
  • Pipeline management for our customers
  • Successfully complete initial and ongoing training of Spruce products
  • Effectively deliver webinar presentations to potential customers to drive business


  • Minimum 1-3 years of inside/outside sales experience with a demonstrated record of success
  • Ability to determine customers’ needs and achieve customer success
  • Strong team orientation
  • Strong persuasive verbal and written communication skills
  • Driven by and successful in a high energy, quota driven and evolving sales environment
  • Willingness to adhere to activity and reporting requirements
  • Ability to multi task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities, responsibilities and business needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet market research and web based presentations
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar sales management tools


  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as sales or marketing is preferred.
