Job Summary

General accounting responsibilities for a series of Residential Solar investment entities (Not traditional Fund Accounting). The responsibilities include transaction processing, accounting and reporting, journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, financial statements support creation.

The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.  Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.



  • Transact daily payment to various partners for loan funding
  • Record Cash Receipts (Principal and Interest) from customers into various entities
  • Initiate intercompany transfers between multiple entities
  • Prepare general ledger journal entries, fixed asset tracking, monthly balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely month-end close tasks
  • Develop, analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepares, reviews, and interprets data for inclusion in financial reports, statements, and summaries.
  • Reviews financial data for accuracy; identifies problems and supports day-to-day operations.
  • Assists with annual external audits.
  • Assists with related special projects as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.




 Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Accounting

  • Must love details!
  • Strong accounting skills.
  • Highly Organized and self sufficient
  • Netsuite experience a plus
  • Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence. 
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
